Authentication for 365 Users:

Users authenticating with Microsoft office 365 may experience temporary difficulty authenticating their email right away via SMTP. Microsoft’s security center may flag the activity as odd or suspicious.

If after attempting to authenticate your email via OnCourse you may encounter a failure screen in OnCourse.

 Check your email for notifications from Microsoft such as the ones found below:



You or your administrator will need to log into the Microsoft account and review the activity occurring and verify by clicking ‘This was me’ on in your Microsoft activity dashboard.  


Click' This was me ' and you will be prompted with the following screen:



Return to your settings / Email page in OnCourse and attempt to authenticate your email in the application:



Click save settings to confirm the completion of your email setup.
